Vinyasa (flow) yoga is a beautiful and graceful yoga dance designed to increase stamina and strength.  In this style of yoga the breath is linked with the movement in a flow of asanas (postures).  Yoga helps to reduce stress and increases flexibility and muscle tone.  Anyone can practice yoga, regardless of their age, size or ability. 

The Essence of Flow DVD series was created to give the beginner to intermediate practitioner an in depth view of Vinyasa yoga.  Each volume has two levels, beginner and intermediate, so that the practitioner can grow their practice.

Instructor Bio

Dana Smith-Rogers, E-RYT, has practiced yoga for several years and enjoys teaching to practitioners of all ages and abilities.  She created Spiritual Essence Yoga in 2003 as a way to share the wonderful benefits of yoga with the community.  Initially skeptical about yoga herself, Dana knew the common misconceptions and myths surrounding yoga.   

By studying various yoga texts and enrolling in different teacher training courses she soon learned to appreciate the spiritual, mental and emotional benefits of practice.  She's made it her life's mission to share this wonderful art and encourage all, especially those who can most benefit, to start a practice. 

In addition to Yoga, Dana is a certified Thai Yoga Massage Therapist, Reiki Master and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
